welcome!

Hi! I’m sandra and this is a compilation of my adventures to America’s 417 (and counting...) National Park Service sites.

The idea began when a friend of mine gave me a National Parks passport book after our trips to Gettysburg and Antietam national battlefields. I had such a great time, that I wanted to see and learn more about the history of our country.

Since then, I’ve road tripped and traveled to 159 sites, and my friends have nicknamed me the National Park Patch Lady.

Follow along as I tell the tales of my adventures, and show the best of what our country has to offer.
